MES Book Fair--February 24-27

February 24th- 27th, 2014
Knights Corner

We invite you to visit our Scholastic Book Fair and experience a celebration of reading that provides families the opportunity to get involved in a universal mission: encouraging kids to read every day so they can lead better lives.

Our Scholastic Book Fair theme - Book Fair Fiesta: ¡Yo Quiero Libros! ¡Vamos a Leer! (I Want Books! Let's Go Read!) –surrounds students in the celebration of reading with hundreds of fun, engaging, affordable books for them to discover. Giving kids access to good books and the opportunity to choose their own books will motivate them to read more. And like most acquired skills, the more kids practice reading, the better they’ll get.

Shopping Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30 am to 7:30 pm,
**Book Fair Closed Thursday after lunch during the Cultural Arts Program, Reopens at 4:00 pm.

BLT (Books and Lunch Together), come to school and eat lunch with your child then shop the book fair together during recess.

SALSA TASTING/JUDGING, Wednesday February 26th, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  How hot is to hot?  Is mild more your style?  Shop our Book Fair Fiesta and sample a variety of salsa, then vote for the best entry!

Do you make a rockin’ good salsa?  Do your friends and family rave about how awesome it is?  We’d like your salsa entry for our tasting and judging contest to be held Wednesday February 26th.
